VRFocus- The 2014 Game Developers Conference (GDC) was a significant event for the virtual reality (VR) industry. Not only did Oculus VR reveal the second development kit (DK2) for its Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) but Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) announced its Project Morpheus HMD for PlayStation 4. In the year that’s followed there has been little new information about the device other than a handful of new videogame announcements. That said, it appears as if the company will be bringing Project Morpheus back to GDC 2015 to at least some degree, providing fans with ‘An Update’ on the device.
This week’s Play State of Play live stream event has been scheduled by Sony, and it may be enough to convince you to buy a PSVR 2.
With the launch of PlayStation Stars, Sony appears to be creating even more benefits for PlayStation customers.
The launch will include both first and third-party games.
