Government Employee Crashes Small Drone at White House

If you haven’t heard the news already today, some bone-head crashed a drone onto the White House lawn, causing a two hour lockdown.

This idiot is going to ruin it for everyone.

this was prob done on purpose to ban civilian use of drones. there are anti air missles on the white house roofs snipers covering every side im surprised this thing landed on the lawn without being blown into pieces.

I disagree. The secret service is in shambles right now. Someone recently just walked right in. Like, he literally just walked right in the front doors. They say they have all that stuff. In a sense they do, but I don't think they know what to do with it when shit hits the fan.

Right, because someone is going to authorize the use of an anti-air MISSILE to destroy a CHEAP QUADCOPTER. I don't see anything going wrong with that plan at all.

It's comments like that that really makes me question if people playing videogames are losing touch with reality.

FYI, when dozens or hundreds get hurt when that missile explodes, they don't just get to walk out of the hospital like GTA5, Obamacare isn't like that at all.

Thanks for making me lose faith in humanity.
A drone crashed on the White House lawn--an absolutely huge area, and you honestly think that:

A) Snipers would have taken it down
B) Since they didn't, there's a conspiracy to illegalize civilian use of drones.

A is so ridiculous, it's hard to even express why.
B is among the silliest conspiracies I've ever heard. If they wanted to ban drones, why not just make a case for Congress? Are they such suckers for dramatic effect that even a crash landing on the White House lawn affects them?
