The specifications for the Samsung Galaxy A7 were posted online by China’s Telecommunication Equipment Certification Centre.
Perhaps the most interesting snippet to come from the certification is that the phone itself will measure just 6.3 mm. That makes it slimmer then the current Samsung Galaxy Alpha, which Measures 6.7 mm.
While the form did not provide any information about which family phones the Galaxy A7 will likely belong to, it’s fair to guess that it will be the follow-up to the current Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
"Looking back on the year that was, 2014 was probably one of the most competitive years for smartphone manufacturers in a good while. It’s not just Apple products on the radar of the trendy, and that’s also a good thing.
As a result, we’ll give you our top phones of the year, the real stand out performers, sellers and jet setters, that have undoubtedly been the most important and exciting releases of the year."
I think Xiaomi's phones could've made the list given their overall success in China.
The Galaxy Alpha, Samsung’s first attempt of creating a metal phone to suit the new trend for premium design, is going to be discontinued in favor of the new line inspired by the expensive mid-ranger.
I like where Samsung is heading. Metal uni body and at least a gig of ram. It seems to me like the phones are build more quality overall even those charger port's I think are more rigid
