Medium - Maybe it’s the fact that I have to wade through all the technorati tweets about “#Ubergate” to find topics that are more important (news out of Ferguson, for instance). But every once in a while a story pops up that takes SF by storm and Silicon Valley becomes an echo chamber. And here we are.
An 18-year-old made it into Uber's systems. Uber is currently responding to the incident.
It used the “kill switch” to stop law enforcement from cracking down on the company in Europe.
