Hands-on with the Windows 10 Start menu—as big or as small as you want it

The redesigned Start menu is one of the biggest changes in Windows 10 and probably the first most people will notice. While it looks similar to the Windows 7 Start menu, it acts a lot like the full-screen Start experience from Windows 8. You can make the menu about as big or as small as you want by adding and subtracting live tiles, or ditch it altogether and use the full-screen version introduced in Windows 8.
