Net Applications has just released some new numbers for market share of Desktop operating systems, representing usage share for the month of September 2014. This chart shows us that Windows 8/8.1 market share is shrinking to due the growth of its much older sibling Windows 7.
And, for once, some of what it can do looks genuinely useful.
