I got this phone at the weekend and absolutely love it. I had been an Apple user for 4 years before that with an iPhone 4 and then a 5 but I felt Apple dropped the ball with the iPhone 6. Sony really seem to have got so much right with this phone, a classy exterior the looks and feels like a premium handset while also having important features for me like battery life and camera quality.

Moving to Android was made simple by Sony's inclusion of an adaptor in the box and an app that you can download to move all your iOS stuff across. All my apps were available on Google Play and my music got synced using Google Play Music on my desktop PC.

The litmus test was today, first day back in work and by mid afternoon my iPhone is normally struggling for battery and yet the Xperia Z3 had over 50% left and that was after using it quite a bit more than normal today, mainly because it was new I was still finding my way around and customising it but I was very happy with the battery life.

I would love a waterproof Lumia so I could take pics in Jamaica in February lol. A few underwater pics would be great.

3 things I absolutely love about my Xperia Z2: the camera is superb, the battery life kicks ass, and it's water proof!! You really don't know just how good is to have a water proof phone till you own one.

I can go almost 2 days using it very consistently with stamina mode on, that's how good the battery is. I went to SD comic con this year, I was able to use the browser to locate all the booths I was looking for, making calls and texting all day, while waiting in the lines for autographs, took 1000 pics of cosplayers and displays. At the end of the day bam!! Still at 40%.
This phone is way under rated, it needs to release more widely in America so it can start catching some mainstream word of mouth

Limited Edition Sony Xperia Z3 phones and tablet released, but you probably can’t buy them

Limited Edition Sony Xperia Z3 devices were announced by Sony Germany a couple of days ago, and let me say that the designs look absolutely fantastic. Regardless of the fact that we have no idea how you can a hold of one of the new devices, the fact that they are out there is a comforting thought. Much like HTC did with the HTC One M8 Limited Edition Phunk-design, Sony seems to be getting involved in creating new designs for smartphones.

I think Xiaomi's phones could've made the list given their overall success in China.
