VRFocus - It's been a whirlwind of a week following Samsung's Unpacked event in Berlin, Germany on 3rd September 2014. The company used the event to reveal not just its new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 smartphone, but the Gear VR head-mounted display (HMD) that will use it's 5.7-inch Quad HD display for virtual reality (VR) experiences. Following the event VRFocus revealed the release window and target pricing for the event, though even more specific details have recently been released on a pre-order page for the device.
IrisVision have used Samsung Gear VR headsets to allow partially sighted people to see things a little clearer.
Now that VR has become a part of our lives, there are lots of VR headsets that offer us the possibility to enjoy the technology. The current devices are already exciting, however, even more interesting ones are coming our way and will most likely become the best VR headsets for 2018.
The technology is currently experimental.
