VRFocus - As excited as many are for virtual reality's (VR) future within the videogame industry, there's no doubt that the technology will also have a huge impact on film and TV. Today sees leading cinematic VR technology company Jaunt prove that fact, as it has announced a new round of funding totaling some $27.8 million USD to help increase the scale of its operations with its omnidirectional camera shooting 360-degree experiences for use with VR head-mounted displays (HMD) such as the Oculus Rift.
