Windows Phone loses share but expected to bounce back strong in the second half of 2014

When it comes to Windows Phone, the last 2 quarters haven’t particularly been its brightest, and that can be attributed to the uncertainty of the Nokia acquisition as it was still a work in progress at the time. Windows Phone saw shipments of 7.4 million units and accounted for 2.5% of total worldwide smartphone shipments. This is down from 8.2 million handsets and 3.4% market-share in Q2 of 2013.
