This broke me completely.. :(

"The plane could easily have been mistaken for a military aircraft," says Harmer, citing the 1988 incident of Iran Air flight 655, in which a US Navy warship shot down an Iranian commercial flight, believing it to be a military aircraft. "If the US Navy can mistake a commercial passenger flight for a military attack aircraft, then it is certainly reasonable to expect that Russian separatists would make the same mistake,"

The fact that someone else did it a quarter of a century ago, likely with much less advanced tech, doesn't justify a new occurrence. Their propaganda is getting relentless; going to the length of editing Wikipedia is pathetic.

Those rebel turds can hop the border into the "paradise" of Russia if they want to be a part of it so badly. No need to bring back the Soviet Union when there's so much land in Siberia for them.

Passenger Jets getting shot down have happened in the past.
Soviet Russia also shot down a Korean plane with about the same amount of people as MH17.

It truly is disgusting. Non-excusably so.

Russia is full of crap, how about not giving such weapons to idiots in the first place Uhhhhh! Duhhh! Its Russia's fault period they armed those idiots, will they and that donkey Putin admit fault no. I don't want to hear "oh! The U.S . Did it also" either knew that was coming anyone who knows anything knew about that incident.

It is a rather widely used force multiplier tactic, you supply rebel forces with arms and sometimes even send some special forces in with the specific purpose of training them. It is usually carried out as a black-op...

They will never admit fault, anyone operating under those orders that is caught in action will be branded as traitors and treated as such, betrayed by their own government.

This stuff has been happening throughout history, the US does it too. Governments will find any possible way to cheat and play dirty at every opportunity.

A civil war will almost always reveal hidden enemies that masquerade as allies, there is rarely an innocent party involved.

They can deny it all they want, already proof photos of the launchers being driven back to Russia I guess. Russian mercenaries are loading bodies into trucks they are taking them to a location in Donetsk to make sure shrapnel from the Russian made missile isn't found to obviously further show just how much Russia is involved in supplying these munitions to their dogs in Ukraine.

So the denial starts for Putin's Russia huh! I already knew that was coming. I know I can't be the only one peeved at what Putin said and what they are doing right? Here's what a user replaced by the way. > That edit replaced text – written just an hour earlier - which said MH17 had been shot down "by terrorists of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic with Buk system missiles, which the terrorists received from the Russian Federation."<

They are busted and they know it. They were told to quit touching stuff and kept doing it. If it wasn't them, then leave it alone and let investigations prove it.

I think we have the start of another Cold War brewing.

Brewing? It's already here, it's been here for a while now.
