Android Wear devices from the Google Play Store will be arriving at houses all around the world starting today, with many more being sold once they are available in retail locations. As a first public version of the platform Android Wear shows a lot of promise, but there’s more than a couple of kinks that need to be worked out.
Another tech company abandons Android Wear
Yesterday, Google announced what many hoped would be the first "proper" Android Wear smartwatches - designed from the ground up to provide the best Wear experience possible by the very team behind Android Wear. But what we received increasingly appears to be two LG smartwatches with hints of Google design influence, with far more of Google's effort being felt in the marketing and media campaigns than on consumers' wrists.
The much-anticipated update makes Google’s watch OS faster and easier to use.
