AMD have revealed their new budget range APUs, challenging to the Intel Core i3 'Haswell' processors. The AMD A10-780 APU is based on the 28nm AMD 'Kaveri' architecture. This new APU from AMD works on a FM2+ socket. Apart from A10-7850K, The A10-780 is locked, this means you can't overclock it. The TDP of this processor is really good, only 65W as compared to the A10-7850K, which consumes 95W.
