Space dreams: 5 futuristic ideas that won NASA cash

NASA is dreaming of methane oceans and asteroid nets. Each year the space agency solicits ideas for space technology that could prove useful in the next few decades. Here are five of the 12 projects chosen this year by the NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts (NIAC) programme . Each project will receive $100,000 for further development, plus the possibility of an additional $500,000.
