My Tech Update - HTC it seems is quite keen to increase it’s market share in Indian smartphone market. HTC considers India as one of it’s important market and is trying to woo sub Rs. 10,000 segment with the launch of it’s most affordable smartphone till date, the HTC Desire 210 dual SIM. As of date HTC has a market share of 5-6% and it aims to double it by next two years with the launch of budget friendly devices which account for over 70% of smartphone sales in India.
Starting in April, HTC will start shipping a headset-only option for the Vive Cosmos Elite, along with a free copy of Half-Life: Alyx, for $549.
A custom processor would theoretically allow Oppo to reduce its reliance on the likes of Qualcomm and MediaTek.
Here are the specs of the Vive Cosmos.
