Facebook has tweaked its news feed again to allow users to filter out content from Pages based on three additional options. Over time, the weighted votes would have influence on how often content from Pages are shown to users in the future.

Now make the main page in chronological order again. Just because I commented/liked some posts, doesn't mean I want other users'/groups' posts hidden at the bottom.
Simply do what I do, "Hide All" from the links that your friends are sharing.
And if it becomes too much of a problem, just "Unfollow" that friend.
