Following Google and many other companies, Byju has joined the list of companies to fire hundreds of workers.
No shit. Anything considered a common word, term or phrase is non tradmarkable. They would have to keep it in a unique combination of words, like Google Glass. I'm suprised these major corps haven't yet managed to figure out such a basic law. Even on the rare case where the trademark office facks up and issues an illegal trademark, like facebooks trademarks of "Face" and "book" for example, it will be thrown out faster than a moldy turd once they try taking anyone to court over it.
