Google is rolling out an update to its Evernote rival Keep that introduces the ability to search for text in photos uploaded to the service.
While Evernote has had this feature for a long time, we found that Google’s implementation located text in images instantly. Evernote, on the other hand, took a few minutes after a data sync to index the images that we tested. That said, Keep doesn’t highlight the searched phrase in the images it displays, which may be a downer for some.
