My Tech Update: Last week some of the websites reported that US’s PC maker HP may come out with it’s VoiceTabs for Indian market. Today HP formally announced the launch of it’s Slate 6 and Slate 7 VoiceTabs in India for the first time in India. HP may be looking to tap some of the phablet craze in Indian smartphone market with this launch. As of now there is no word from HP on the availability of these tablets in India, but going by the latest market trends these devices may soon be found listed on some online retailer. HP has made it’s mind to capture Indian smartphone market and has signed up none other than Young Indian Heartthrob Deepika Padukone as it’s brand Ambassador. Both Slate 6 and Slate 7 come with voice calling facility and these devices are sleek. Both VoiceTabs have are dual SIM devices, comes with quad core processor, 3G support, and dual standby connectivity
