GeekFed: "Makerbot has been coming to CES for the past five years and this year they had two new products to announce during a jam-packed press conference at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino.
The first new product announced today was the Makerbot Replicator Mini which is a smaller and cheaper unit which the Bre Pettis, CEO of Makerbot, described as being “one touch, set up for speed. It’s the point and shoot for 3D printers.” The smaller printer has a camera to monitor progress as well as make it easy to share images to social networks."
Is this the consumer-friendly 3D printer we've been waiting for?
