NASA's longest-running Mars mission has captured its first view of Phobos.
On Aug. 14, 2017, European Space Agency (ESA) astronauts Samantha Crisoforetti and Matthias Maurer trained with their counterparts with the China National Space Administration (CNSA) in Yantai, China. See photos of the historic joint exercise.
It's unclear how this proposal would work with existing NASA studies of a Europa lander mission that could launch as soon as 2025.
I'll be paying some close attention to this when it happens. Sure would be cool if they're successful.
