30Npire: Electric bikes are not something you hear much about due to the amount of noise made by carmakers, but the Mission R is here to prove that the motorcycle industry is as advanced if not even further along than carmakers in using electric power in creating a seamless experience for riders.
The Mission R is a 100% electric powered bike built by a Californian based company, Mission Motorcycles.

Now, with its public debut scheduled for later today at the Long Beach International Motorcycle Show, the lights have come up and the bike is rather awe-inspiring. As we take it in details, from its front Brembo brakes to its rear single-sided swingarm, we are indeed smitten.
I love the push for electric bikes. I'm a rider myself and after seeing some of these electric bikes it makes me wish I had the kind of money to buy one. Of course all of them are prototypes still, but I look forward the day when electric motor vehicles become mainstream.
