Samsung Displays Curved Screen Smartphone - October Launch Date

ThatNaijaBlog - Samsung continues to innovate. This time Samsung stuns the industry with the revelation of a curved-shaped OLED display smartphone. (OLED, Phones, Samsung, Youm)

The key here is not giving up on oled like everybody else. This is the only reason i chose samsung phones that have the current amoled displays, it uses less power which allows them to make their phones bigger, thinner and more powerful. Few other people seem to appreciate this.
I prefer plastic & oled over aluminum & lcd even though i prefer aluminum over plastic. New iphone 5c seems to be plastic and lcd, go figure.

"phones bigger, thinner and more powerful"

I don't think Samsung made the Xperia Z Ultra

If Sony had used an OLED display, their phones would have been even lighter (smaller battery due to less power use or same size battery with longer life). Oled displays simply give more room for the rest of the phone. Honestly i prefer Sony for built quality and they invented OLED (i think), but if Samsung continues to be the only phone manufacturer using oled (or amoled) i will continue to prefer their phones.

Sorry but somthing must be wrong with your phone. I txt, listen to music, search the web, watch youtube, and play games all day I take my gs4 off the charger at 7am and it does not go back on charger until at least 12am and it still has like 30 to 50% power left.

Wow amazing. Once again Samsung prove they lead. Yet give it 10 years for the "iphone 15abc" to have such screens and I'm sure the fan boys will call them industry leaders.
