German chancellor’s drone “attack” shows the threat of weaponized UAVs

Ars Technica- At a campaign rally in Dresden on September 15, a small quadrocopter flew within feet of German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Defense Minister Thomas de Maiziere, hovering briefly in front of them before crashing into the stage practically at Merkel's feet. Merkel appeared to be amused by the "drone attack," but de Maiziere and others on the stage seemed a bit more unsettled by the robo-kamikaze. (Hi-tech, Web)

Would have undoubtedly been more impressive if they had used the "catcopter"

I would have to completely agree with you. Although I don't condone or agree with the "Catcopter" there would be no better use than this for it.

I salute you sir!

You know if one of those things were flying into a area with dense population say a super bowl game where maybe 50,000 or 100,000 people and loaded with something like say concentrated Botulinum toxin liquid dispersed in that kind of crowd could kill a couple thousand people in minutes. Kind of scary what one could do can you imagine a mini fleet of them could do?
