GES SA | Every gamer knows that you should have a proper surface for your mouse and the best way is to look at a proper gaming mouse pad. Let’s see how the Razer Manticor compares.
Mouse pads have come a long way since PC has become a must in the house hold. The first mouse pads were thick A5 size rubber sponges and a mouse did not work without one. Then we saw appearances of pads with wrist rests and funny shapes of different kind of images printed on the surface, these lasted for a while until the mouse had an internal change. When optical and laser mouses were born the need for a mouse pad started to disappear until gaming peripheral manufacturers came up with a new better & slicker mouse pad. These pads are designed to give you a smoother “ride” with your mouse with no cursor jumping and saved probably thousands of mouses’ lives.
Maximum PC: Gaming peripheral guru Razer today unveiled its collection of mouse mats for 2013 and 2014, which consists of the Razer Invicta, Razer Manticor, Razer Destructor 2, and Razer Megasoma 2. All four were supposedly engineered with new construction methods for a superior finish and treated with "performance-boosting sensor-reactive surface coatings," but what's really interesting is a sub 3-minute video walking viewers through the design process.
