Pocket-Lint: There is a new LG flagship device in town, the LG G2, and while it screams top of the range, we thought it would be worth seeing how it stacks up against LG's most popular smartphone at the moment, the Nexus 4, to see whether it really is worth going for the top of the range offering or whether you can stay mid-range and still enjoy life.
TechFrag - The Android 5.1 Lollipop update was made available to only select users in March when Google announced the latest update. The update is now being rolled out to additional users of Nexus 5.
There was a battery leak issue with the 5.0 but now it seems it's resolved with the 5.1 update. I have this phone and I have got the update.
The LG G2 is last year’s flagship smartphone from LG and even though the LG G3 is already ranking as one of the best smartphones of 2015, its predecessor is nothing to frown at, boasting pretty good specs that can hold their ground even today. Nonetheless, an Android 5.0 Lollipop update would make the LG G2 an even more pleasant budget acquisition, since the new mobile OS from Google brings a ton of new features, not to mention the revered Material Design.
I was really looking forward for this update, because i am experiencing overheating with my LG G2 that i gave to my dad, hopefully the Lollipop update will solve it.
"Until now this version was only available for the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013), but developers recently got it working on the Nexus 4 as well."
