The cheap labour thing is a joke and extremely un moral but apple aint alone on this one.
A cheaper iphone may destroy them from the inside out because they have this whole policy where you pay over the top price for something you feel is expensive. If they start selling cheap products people will not associate them with that top of the line product anymore thus shifting the consumer base.
