Geek - n a spectacular display of spineless retreat, Microsoft pulled their entire digital philosophy for the Xbox One and announced that everything would work exactly as it does on the current console. Unfortunately that means we lost the features that really set the Xbox One apart.
If you want to share games with a trusted friend or family member, here's everything to know about gamesharing on Xbox One.
If your console keeps turning off, it's time for some troubleshooting.
This means you can now play some Xbox Series X|S exclusive games on your Xbox One.
I blame the journalists, honestly.
who tha fork cares
* Sign in every 24 hours. There was no way that could have been realistic! Even if it was said by accidient, it's not realistic! But, journalists and opposition fanboys took that and ran rampant with it. Pathetic!
* DRM. It's sad to see it go.
I thought this ide was really good and also made the xbox one a fast switching console. Also the match making when playing a different game was great to. I hope Microsoft can find a way for an opt in and out for this as I really liked the ide and the way that it all worked. Its not for everyone but why should people who wanted it miss it as this is what made the one different to the PS4 and WiiU.
I don't understand the complaining about loosing account linking for physical copies. Physical copies are and always have been about collecting, and a collection isn't worth shit without the ability to trade/sell it.
If the disk is just going to sit on the shelf and never be touched again, buy the digital copy, you still have all the features that were previously announced (account linking, accessing your collection from any system without needing a disk) without f'ing over people who have a legitimate want of physical copies.
Having physical copies act as digitals completely defeats the purpose of a physical copy.
