$499 Is A Dangerous Price For Microsoft's Xbox One

Forbes: Microsoft dropped a bombshell at its Xbox One press conference today. It came on all of a sudden, without a big flashing number or display. It hung in the air just the same. The Xbox One will retail at $499 when it releases in November, and that could prove a very dangerous price for Microsoft’s new console.

By far the biggest drawback beyond price is the fact Microsoft is completely eliminating game sharing. I don’t want to have to pay a “small fee” to register a buddys game on my Xbox live account. WTF? No more big groups playing FIFA, NHL or other sport games.

If you think about it, you would expect Ps4 to cost $499 and xbOne would cost 399 because of the DRM and always online because now they can make a secure revenue. This shows how greedy Microsoft is. I haven't bought anything to do with Microsoft product in years! Except windows 8 for $40 because vista is one of the worse OS and Skype barely!
