The Times of India- Google's free email service Gmail is reportedly down in some parts of India, with users venting their frustration on microblogging platform Twitter. Media reports have also said that Google Play, the company's app store for Android also suffered a brief outage.
But you can still go back to the old layout if you prefer.
Overall, this looks like a decent UI update for people that use multiple Google services.
Spam runs rampant on Gmail, but you have options.
