Should Large Businesses Interact with Users on Social Media?

Suck My Trend - A number of large businesses are taking the approach recently of interacting more with individual people on Social Networks. For a long time, brands were creating Facebook pages of millions of fans but at the same time, not using it as a social network, more of an advertisement and marketing tool. Whilst this approach will obviously continue to be used, more companies are actually replying to complaints, suggestions and simple social interactions on sites like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
