Should aim for 400. I won't touch 500 unless online is free and games yes games for a gaming console are revealed other than the greats of netflix and dashboard

A subscription for the next Xbox is a terrible idea, imagine having to pay that and then having to pay for Xbox Live.

On top of all that 'it actually says 'must be internet-connected to use' in the notes'.

So, an internet require subscription based Xbox? No...no thank you.

The subscription is xbox live, isn't it?

'must be internet-connected to use'

This is probably in relation to Xbox Live, if you notice this Orth guy mentions this quote from the documentation but clearly has no idea what it relates to...

Old, but I want to participate. This is no better than a cellphone. a Cellphone is more detrimental to every day life than an Xbox or even a NEXTbox, so I am willing to foolishly part with my money for a cellphone than I would an Xbox.

Until I can fold an Xbox in my pocket and hook it up to my monitor or TV to play hi-def, full gaming experiences, no-no.

if the next box is 500 that means its actually $560 because of xbox live.

the 300 dollar model with subscription is probably the same type you get when you get that new iphone at the lower price but end up paying 70 dollars a month for the service and probably on a 3g network. also you gonna have to pay for live as well. who knows like could become a monthly payment incorparated into your subscription.

basic - tier 3g always online 50 a month.
premium tier 3g always online + xbox live 70 a month
master tier total package 3g always online+ XbL+ monthly data cap increased to 2 full game downloads and 10 xbl arcade games a month. you dont get free games only after you purchase the game do they allow you to donwload up to a maximum of 2 before you must do data over
age charges

Why would we want 3G in a console? LoL Hell if anything i'd rather it be 4g LTE

people know stuff and stuff leaks its a fact of life and happens in all tech. waiting for an announcement isnt what consumers do. instead they buy what has already been announced and preorder that and bash or forget about what hasnt been announced. MS is messing up even apple tells you when there announcments are and they do it when they say and leaks and rumors are close to the final product. heck people find the new iphones in bars lol.

they and you can wait all you want because they losing sells as we speak. why get an announced product when there is one already announced that developers like and praise and has power hmm.

400 max. After a year they will sell it at 300.

I had heard of the subscription based model, but I thought it would be like 99 down and a fixed amount monthly. 300 initially is just insane. $500 for this console s a lot also.
Should cap at 400 and lots of games.

Anyway, well see what crap M$ pulls out of their collective asses.

I'm quite happy with my WiiU and look forward to PS4. NextBox had better impress the crap out of me.

subscription based? sounds like an ATT/Verizon contract to me, pay $300 for it, and be stuck with a contract for atleast 2 years. I dont think so....
