Now I'm wondering to delete my Facebook account. Because it doesn't matter if you logout. They are still following you when you're not logged in.

clear your cookies. this concept is nothing new. tracking has been done for the longest time.

there's many browsers, ad block, adons and scripts that stop tracking and things of that nature.

I dont get how this is a successful business practice because I never buy based off of seeing an ad.

It generally isn't so much about you clicking through as it is about exposure. You're more likely to buy a product if you've seen it at multiple places before, such as on TV, internet ads and billboards.

... thanks to the excellent Chrome extension Adblock+.

What's most irritating about Facebook is that it seems to decide for you what you want to see on your news feed, thus making you miss updates from pages you liked, while feeding you constant updates from -some- pages or people on your list.

I got a soultion to this problem, If you using Firefox just install, CookieMonster, DoNotTrack, NoScript and Adblock + and they will definatly stop the tracking. On the other hand cookie monster lets you selectively delete cookies so you can delete facebook's tracking cookie.

Its just a opinion which I found on web, but if these add-ons doesn't help you in any way don't point finger at me :P

I have AD Block plus and other Firefox addons that block most of facebook tracking.
