Why You Might Not Want to Get the Samsung Galaxy 4

Yahoo - After several weeks of hype, Samsung made the Galaxy S4 official Thursday night. BTIG analyst Walter Piecyk, who covers mobile and telecom companies, attended Samsung's extravagant event at Radio City Music Hall. He told The Daily Ticker's Henry Blodget that he saw little difference between the new S4 and its predecessor the Galaxy S III. (Galaxy S IV, Phones)

Well, all the Preview/Hands-On around the web have nothing but praise for it.

I know it myself soon enough, as 1 of my many friends will definitely buy it day 1.

Though i would be ditching my Month Old Nexus 4 for this.

yeah I might have to get one, but only if I can make the theme on the S4 look like this one... Fast Forward to about 3:19 - http://bit.ly/XQaEtf

Love that theme...

Samsung should leave the software to Google, do what they should as a manufacturer and improve the hardware.

Instead of gimmicks they could have improved the build quality and design this time around.

Plastic dos not fit a premium phone.

Not sure, I've heard the new features are very gimmicky like the eye scrolling and hovering. Great in theory, barely if ever used in practice.

Having said that, it's still miles better than the iphone5, but I chose to settle for the Xperia Z. Just as powerful, but with 2 things I needed: water proofing and something sturdier than the brittle iPhone.

Pretty sure all the new Android smartphones will be a good buy.

the iphone 5 is actually a great device that holds up better than samsung phones in drop tests and other shock tests. Some people like android and a big screen better, but the reasons to hate on the iphone 5 are kind of ridiculous.

I have the GS3 now
but GS4 looks too much like the GS3! at a glance...there are barely any difference and why bother when GS3 itself will get 4.2 updates later?

if I'm thinking of upgrading, Xperia Z is what I'm to get!

Xperia Z is surprisingly awesome. Not used to saying that for Sony handsets lol

One thing to note, washing the phone becomes a party trick. Pretty much everyone that pops over to the house asks me to show them the "water trick" before they play about with the phone.

whats with all these anti samsung articles. The phone looks great and has a great feature set(there is a variant with 2 quad cores one manages all background low power stuff)
