GX Gaming Gila Gaming Mouse Review | Metal Arcade

Metal Arcade:

Jason Bakker says:

The GX Gaming Gila Gaming Mouse is the most ergonomic and functional mouse in its price range.

For the uninitiated, a $100 price point for a mouse might seem pretty steep. I understand that sentiment- before getting my hands on the Genius GX Gaming Gila Gaming Mouse, I didn't know what I was missing. Being the first mouse above $30 I've ever owned or touched, I can say without fear of hyperbole that the GX Gaming Gila has changed the way I view PC gaming. (Gaming, PC, PC hardware) -

Unless your looking for an ambidextrous gaming mouse, I would personally stick with the Logitech G600 MMO. You get all the same things this mouse offers minus the switchable weights (the weight of the G600 is fine to me anyway; why change it?) but with FAR more programmable buttons.

Logitech's gaming software is pretty intuitive too. You can very easily create custom Macros and profiles that automatically switch between games and programs. Some might say the 20 buttons on the MMO is overkill, but it really is not that bad and with some games it is quite handy.

All this said, this is just my personal preference and I am a little biased in that I've used many Logitech products in the past and liked them very well. Also, the G600 and its software play well with my G510 keyboard that just happens to use the same software, so my profiles translate to BOTH the keyboard and mouse and switch on the fly on both. Lastly, the G600 is strictly a "righty" mouse, so left handed gamers will have issues (you may need to look into Razor for left handed alternatives).
