Maximum PC: You could almost see this one coming from an Internet mile away, which won't come as much consolation to those invested in the service, but Twitter is pulling the plug on Posterous on April 30, 2013. First launched in 2008, the Posterous blogging service was acquired by Twitter in March of last year, and at the time, users were told it would stay up and running. And it did, for a little while, anyway.
Airlines, Air France, KLM, and Ryanair no longer offer customer service support using Twitter's direct message functionality.
