Maximum PC: Microsoft is starting to find out what Acer meant when it said that the hardware business is like "hard rice" and "is not so easy to eat." Yes, those are real quotes, albeit probably a rough translation. The point Acer has repeatedly tried to hammer home is that Microsoft has no business competing against its OEM partners, and that it should focus on software, not hardware. Initial reviews of the Surface Pro aren't likely to change Acer's opinion, but will they change Microsoft's?
As for he pro you are looking at it the wrong way round. The pro is the Same as the mac air in terms as specs and the 128gb 11" air has the same am out of free storage as the surface but has not got the extra memory card slot like the surface to expand the storage.
The way I see if apple fan will slate windows and the same the other way round but what people now need to start thinking is the surface rt is an iPad replacement and the pro is a laptop replacement as its an i5 with 4gb of memory and can do anything any other windows pc can do as a tablet where the iPad and surface rt can't.
