Intel Haswell vs Ivy Bridge Quad Core Processor Benchmarked

From whatswithjeff.com "The coming of Intel’s 5th generation processors, codenamed “Haswell” is imminent. Haswell processors are said to support LGA socket 1150 and promises better performance compared to the current Ivy Bridge processors. Just recently, an engineering sample of a Haswell processor was benchmarked and compared with the popular Intel Core i7-3770K at similar clock speed. See the results below." (Intel, PC hardware)

oh yes, this is exactly what I was waiting for!

edit: Not worth the hype then? But they did say that they don't know what kind of haswell was being tested though so let's pray for the best. Was waiting to get an ultrabook with it since Intel promised 13 hours of battery life... A bit over the top I know but what if they deliver?

Haskell seems like large boost to average to low end pc buyers due the 50% boost to integrated graphics. However, to anyone using a discrete viedo card, theres almost no benefit to upgrading as the speed increase of the chip at this point is sounding like it almost none.
