How Much Memory or RAM Do I Need for My PC? 2GB, 4GB, 8GB or 16GB?

2-4Gb if your an every day/ office user
8Gb if your a Gamer
16Gb+ if your working with maya, video editting etc...

you can pair 8GB of Ram with an Atom and N550 and that's going overboard so you're wrong. You just don't put Ram on a PC, you need to balance all the specs.

Right... Okay... So, my MB maxes out at 16Gbs. Geee, I guess if you want to pick that to pieces as well, by all means waste your time. :)

Pretty sure 32gb of ram would be "too much" for someone wanting to surf the net and play facebook games.

Not to mention a total waste of money.
