The Verge: Shoppers at the Lincoln Park Apple Store in Chicago got a shock this evening when a car crashed directly through the store’s front glass wall. Aside from smashing one of the wooden display tables into the wall, showering the interior of the store with glass, and scaring the hell out of the people inside, it looks like everything else is more or less OK — Twitter user RGR3 says that no one was seriously injured.
All 270 US-based Apple Stores are reopened. They note that Houston and San Antonio stores have been the last to open, completing the reopening.
Target is turning into a mini-mall in some locations, with the inclusion of mini Apple stores to 17 locations, with more planned later this year.
As protests continue across the country and the world, Apple Stores have been a target of looters in many areas across the US.
