Cnet Hands-on: Microsoft Surface Pro lives up to hype
Cnet: While it first might have seemed like laptops and PCs took the year off at CES 2013, there have been a number of notable products that caught our eye. One of them wasn't even on the show floor, or at CES at all.
(Gadgets, Microsoft Surface Pro)
If they offer one with a decent amount of internal storage.. like 64 or 128GB, plus the microSD slot that the RT has, I may just get one. Being able to run any Windows app on my tablet is pretty appealing.
DOSBox tablet? Heck yeah. Maybe I'll dig into a little DOSBox source to get a remappable touch interface working.
Not a chance I would pay 899 for a tablet especially when it doesn't come with the cover. You can get the same product for less with any of the laptop touch screens which is probably much more functional. I was very much looking forward to selling my ipad for a surface until its ridiculous prices drove me away
I have the Series 7 Slate from Samsung and its pretty much what the surface pro is. I have the developers version from 2011 with win 8 ent. and its ridiculously tight! An 11" screen though so its slightly bigger.
Now - We are looking for awesome people who are interested in testing the new N4G and other new services that are set to launch later this year. | Promoted post
