Oracle Corp to fix Java security flaw "shortly"

(Reuters) - Oracle Corp said it is preparing an update to address a flaw in its widely used Java software after the U.S. Department of Homeland Security urged computer users to disable the program in web browsers because criminal hackers are exploiting a security bug to attack PCs.

Fujifilm to manufacture world's highest-capacity data tape cartridge

Fujifilm will manufacture the data cartridge for Oracle's newest enterprise tape drive, the StorageTek T10000C. The StorageTek T10000C data cartridge is manufactured using Fujifilm's Barium-Ferrite (BaFe) particle and has a native storage capacity of 5.0TB. The cartridge supports a native transfer speed of 240MB per second. This is a capacity increase of five times the current 1.0TB StorageTek T10000B drive.
