Engadget - MetroPCS has just announced a new 4G LTE data plan for those who don't want to keep one eye on data usage or try to decipher the complexity of other offerings. You'll get unlimited talk and text with all three, and unlimited, 2.5GB and 500MB of 4G LTE hustle for $60, $50 and $40 respectively, all taxes in.
The North America Unlimited plan brings unlimited calling and texting from the U.S. to Canada and Mexico for $5.
HotHardware: So T-Mobile didn't get to merge with AT&T as the two companies tried, in vain, to make happen in what now seems like an eternity ago. However, T-Mobile has found itself a partner. Parent company Deutsche Telekom announced today that T-Mobile USA and MetroPCS have united, and the combined company will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker "TMUS." Just as important, the two promise to take the wireless market by storm.
SlashGear: We mentioned last week that MetroPCS was getting its first Android smartphone on the LTE network called the Samsung Galaxy Indulge. The phone sounds interesting on its own and it will ship with a microSD card from SanDisk that has 4GB of storage.
