I remember when nokia announced they were going to make windows phones from now on and everyone said that nokia will never be big again and ms will buy them out.
Look at them now the lumia 920 is selling very well and once more people get to see what the nokia devices and windows phone can offer them over the other phones on the market they will soon be pushing the galaxy and iphone close and i have said by 2015 Nokia will be a force again.
People seem to forget in the technology world you cant be to for ever you are to for 10 to 15 years then someone else comes along and takes your top spot and then someone comes along and takes theres again.
M$ will do as they always do and drop support for WP8 phone early & not continue with updates if it doesn't gain market share.
There's still many users I know that won't touch a WP8 because of M$ dropping support for WP6* & WP7.
As for Nokia going WP8 only and putting all their eggs in one basket. They might as well slit their own throats, it will be less painful.
At the end of the day Microsoft is not for everyone but the same is said for Google, Apple and every other company out there.
