McAfee Threat Report Points to Windows 8 as "Next Big Target"

Maximum PC: If you thought Windows 8 would provide refuge from an increasingly malware infested web, think again. Security firm McAfee has just released its annual Threat Predictions report in which it highlights the top threats it foresees for the coming year, and like it or not, Windows 8 is going to be a major target. Despite improved security in Windows 8, McAfee believes targeted malware will be available faster than it was for Windows 7.

LoL... says the company who is trying to sell you Virus Protection software...

It's basically like taking your car to the mechanic and asking him do I need anything done.. -I'm sure even if you don't need any work they can find something.

I did a few checks on the top rated virus protection software's and McAfee didn't even come in the top 10... LMAO.. I mean really -you can't be serious

I think I'll take my "The sky is falling" news from some company, who at least placed in the top 10 before I start listening to this nonsense..

(for one, windows 8 will not be a huge target, because thieves tend to go where it's easier to steal, and windows 8 comes with virus protection built in.. as appose to windows 7 which you had to go install some, which most people didn't)
