This is good for all of us. I understand that Apple changed the charger port. I mean, hell, the old dock charge port was like 10 years old. lol It did suck that Apple didn't go with the standard mhl port that most Android phones use. The Lightning cable is still better than the old dock charge port though because it's reversable and does not have a clicker on each side. It's just easy in and out and no matter which way you plug it up, it works.
This project is a bit crap anyway, its hardly a new concept and its WAY overpriced.
You can pick up a mobile charger that can be loaded with AA batteries (which you could purchase over 100 and still not spend half the asking price for this POP device, or just use rechargables...) which will charge your phone quite happily when switched off or sustain your battery life for a few hours when on.
