Leaked images show 'the next Blackberry' - and it looks suspiciously like an iPhone
Dailymail: These pictures purport to show the phone which BlackBerry maker Research In Motion hopes will halt its seemingly inexorable slide out of the mobile business.
(BlackBerry 10, iPhone, Phones, RIM)
Well they say ""Imitation Is The Best Form Of Flattery" or in this new tech world..
- If you can't beat them, well then just - "copy and paste."
Sadly for Blackberry they seem to have chosen that choice of action, just a little late.. Someone should really tell them that today's date is actually 12-13-12 and the first iPhone actually came out in 2007..
So It might be just a little late to start copying.. - in-case Blackberry didn't get the memo it's about to be 2013 -Someone really should let them know..
In a sense yes, but then Steve Jobs did say himself when he quoted Picasso that "good artists copy, great artists steal". Either way, it would seem that RIM have the go ahead from the man himself, so I don't see a problem with it.
Of course, if this phone doesn't sort out the horrible software issues of its predecessors then it doesn't matter how much like the iphone it looks - it needs to match it on performance as well!
Well, I highly doubt this is their final design. If Apple does drop a lawsuit on them though assuming that this is a legit product, I will just sit here and laugh. The back is a bit different, but it has quite a similar profile. Anyway, if RIM does get hit with a lawsuit and lose, they'll definitely go bottom up.
They had a few of these on campus a week or two ago to promote developing apps for their new OS. It's a nice little device, but too little, 3 years too late in my opinion.
While I'm an Android guy myself, noone who honestly knows what they're talking about (or is being honest with themselves) will say Apple products are crap. They're good, but I still prefer my android.

Nokia and Samsung ate up your market share that wasn't lost to apple.
"Oh wow, it has curves around it " Copy
"Oh look, it is 2 shaded" Copy
Be more mature. Have you even seen the new BB10 operate under a fully complete OS? Or are you fools assuming it's all apple/android?
it's a phone... and it's not like anyone said it was an exact copy - I think like the article says it looks a lot like an iPhone.. period
that's just a little funny considering it took them so long to make their new phone. -and it comes out looking like an iPhone
-what's the big deal, I just don't get it.. Who get's upset because people say a phone looks like an iPhone ???
-Really
Used to love my bold 9700.
Hopefully bb10 can be successful cause RIM make some nice pieces of hardware.
Android Samsung galaxy 2-3 rocks

To me it looks more like the early Android HTC models.
