Google Chairman Says Android Winning Mobile War With Apple

Bloomberg - "Google Inc. (GOOG)’s Android is extending its lead over Apple Inc. (AAPL) in the mobile-software market at a rate that compares with Microsoft Corp. (MSFT)’s expansion in desktop software in the 1990s, Google Chairman Eric Schmidt said." (Android, Apple, Google, Industry, iOS)

It's inevitable that Andorid will dominate sooner or later.

HTC, Samsung, Sony etc all the big players adopted Android. If you pick up any other phone outside of a Nokia, iPhone or Blackberry its gonna be Android.

All I hear about Apple these days is how they keep rehashing the same stuff, you never hear this complaint of the other manufacturers despite them doing the same thing.

Theres a big difference though, Apple have the iPhone, thats it. A single flagship mobile. Where as Samsung have this in the S3, they also have a bunch of other phones to choose from, same for HTC and Sony. That will ultimately be Apple's downfall in the mobile market unless they follow suit.
