Maximum PC: Amazon is making one last effort to sell more Kindle Fire HDX tablets this holiday shopping season by offering buyers an extended payment plan free of interest. The way it works is rather simple -- you pay 25 percent of the retail cost at checkout, and the remaining balance is billed in three equal installments every 90 days. There are no finance charges, hidden fees, credit check, or application process to go through.
Maximum PC: Father's Day is only a couple of weeks away, and one way to celebrate the occasion is by getting your dad a gift. You could go with a tie (again) or some other piece of clothing, take him out to dinner, or wait for us to finalize our gift guide (hang tight, it's coming). One of the items that has a high chance of making the list is Amazon's Kindle Fire HD, and if you' don't procrastinate, you can save yourself $20 with the purchase of one.
Examiner: Amazon is getting ready to release its Kindle Fire HD 8.9" to AT&T retail stores on April 5, which will use the carrier's 4G LTE network.
The 32GB tablet will be able to net the Kindle Fire HD ($399) for a limited time cost of $249 with a 2-year data plan agreement.
