Oprah Tweets Her Love For Microsoft Surface Using An iPad

Techcrunch: Oprah hasn’t been shy about her love for the MS Surface. In early November, she claimed that it was one of her favorite things. This morning, she tweeted that she has bought 12 for Christmas gifts. She sent that using Twitter for iPad. (Gadgets, iPad, Microsoft Surface, Twitter)

I don't really see the problem here. If the thought they were nice gifts, then why all the fuss. I thought a cook book for my mom would be nice. It doesn't mean I have to like the cook book as well.

She is mindlessly endorsing something she clearly doesn't use and that is the problem. People who are not smart will see Oprah's list and think, "oh gee this must be great if Oprah says so." Preying on slow or misinformed people is not cool.

shes just riling up the casuals, this industry has become something of a joke if you ask me.

@frelyler - You sound surprised. Business is business. Rarely do you find those endorsing products because they genuinely like it.

Lol I'm not knocking on Oprah, as she is a brilliant woman, but her whole mantra when her talk show was on the air was basically telling all those loony women in the audience what books, cooking products, and gadgets to buy. And they all did it! Companies quickly caught on and saw that Oprah was a proxy super saleswoman.

Im not surprised one bit. I was stating what is wrong with her statement bc you said you see nothing wrong with it. That is how the entire industry operates and it is sad bc those who are misinformed will listen to someone without thinking for themselves. Why do you think I sounded surprised? There was no exclamation points in my statement of the obvious
